Release History for the WFCAM Science Archive

This page records the history of WSA survey releases. Note that bug fixes will first be announced on the WSA_Announce email distribution list - contact Mike Read (mar@roe.ac.uk) to subscribe to that - and then subsequently recorded in the release-specific pages linked below, while general issues and bugs are noted under Known Issues.

• August 30th 2010: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 8 (DR8).

• April 27th 2010:GPS included in UKIDSS DR4 for public access
• February 25th 2010: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 7 (DR7).

• February 2nd 2010: World public release of UKIDSS DR4+ (excluding GPS).
• January 8th 2010: GPS included in UKIDSS DR6.
• October 13th 2009: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 6 (DR6).

• August 28th 2009: GPS and UDS included in UKIDSS DR5.
• June 24th 2009:WORLD public release of the UKIDSS Science verification dataset (following user community request). The database name appearing in interface drop-down menus is UKIDSSSV. PLEASE NOTE: these data are based on preliminary survey procedures and pipeline calibration procedures: caveat emptor!
• June 5th 2009: WORLD public release of the UKIDSS DR3.
• April 6th 2009: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 5 (DR5).

• September 5th 2008: WORLD public release of the UKIDSS DR2.
• July 1st 2008: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 4 (DR4).

• December 5th 2007: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 3 (DR3).

• August 10th 2007: WORLD public release of the UKIDSS EDR.
• March 1st 2007: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 2 (DR2).

• July 25th 2006: UKIDSSDR1 database released; UKIDSSDR1 is a subset of UKIDSSDR1plus
• July 21st 2006: UKIDSS DATA RELEASE 1 (DR1). The UKIDSSDR1PLUS database has been released. This is a superset of the UKIDSSDR1 database (which will follow shortly) and includes additional data with incomplete filter coverage. For more information, see the paper by Warren et al.; see also the DR1 release pages for details.
• February 10th 2006: EARLY DATA RELEASE: FIRST ESO-WIDE RELEASE OF UKIDSS SURVEY DATA. Two databases, the Early Data Release (EDR) and a superset that includes additional data with incomplete filter coverage (EDRPLUS) have been released. For more information, see the paper by Dye et al.. Known issues and bugs of EDR/EDR+ are noted here.
